This week coaches from Blackburn Rovers FC visited our school to work with the children on a wide range of activities. The children had lots of fun taking part in a wide range of sessions including: dance coaching, fundamental movement skill games, football tuition and nutrition workshops. The coaches were very impressed with the enthusiasm and behaviour of all our children and had a great time working at Delves Lane Primary. Well done to all the children who took part!
As part of their visit, we also held special afterschool clubs on Tuesday evening for our junior children. The children who attended had great fun taking part in a range wide range of games and activities and were kept very busy all afternoon.
