This term a group of boys and girls from Years 5 & 6 have been taking part in the Derwentside Cross Country Trials where they have been competing against pupils from a wide range of local primary schools. This year, the first of the four trials was held at our school with lots of family and friends coming along to watch the children in action. The children have been excellent ambassadors for our school and have tried their very best throughout even on some particularly cold and rainy occasions. A big well done to all the children involved who have shown great endeavour and determination, doing their very best for Team Delves!
