Meet the staff
Miss Kelly – class teacher
Things I like:
I enjoy being creative and trying new things.
My favourite subjects to teach are Art, D&T, Writing and maths.
I like to walk my dog Rosie and do exercise to relax and unwind.
I enjoy meeting my new class each year and learning about each and every one of you.
Things I don’t like:
I don’t like shouting out or unkind words and If everyone behaves kindly and follows the school rules, that makes me much happier!
I don’t like when people make other people sad.
I promise:
I will try my best to plan and teach lessons which are interesting and fun – for you and for me!
I will listen to your problems, whether it be to do with work or something else, and do my best to help you.
I will be there for you if you need me.
I expect:
You to try your hardest at all It’s not always about what you achieve, it’s the effort you put in that counts the most.
You to be kind and helpful.
You to be patient and respectful; wait your turn to speak and listen well to your teachers and other pupils.
About me:
I am getting married next summer in the Lake District which is one of my favourite places.
I have a gorgeous cockerpoo called Rosie who is 3 years old.
I love to get outside in the sunshine and go on holiday all over the world!

Miss Winskill – teaching assistant
Things I like:
I enjoy going to my caravan on a weekend and going for walks along the river there and listening to all the different birds.
I like to watch the Formula 1Grand Prix motor racing and am lucky enough to be going to Silverstone for the British race. I am very excited!
Things I don’t like:
People hurting others either in their actions or words, but I’m sure that would not happen in our class.
I don’t like tomato sauce!!
I promise:
I will be there to help you when you need it.
I will give cuddles when needed, because we all need a cuddle sometimes.
I will listen to you if you are worried about anything and try to make things better
I expect:

About me:
I love spending time in my garden and have a small vegetable patch which I love.
I have a fish pond with some very big fish in and like watching the birds have a bath in the waterfall.
Important Information
- Year 2 starts school at 8:55am and finishes school at 3:15pm.
- You will enter school through the classroom doors on the infant yard and be picked up from the same place at the end of the day.
- Your PE day will be MONDAY and THURSDAY. Please come to school dressed in your PE kit, and remember that we might be outside – dress appropriately!
