Afterschool Clubs

At Delves Lane Primary, we are very proud of the wide range of exciting afterschool club opportunities available to our children. We have clubs that explore language and culture, music, science, the arts, sports and much much more! In our clubs children have fantastic fun, make new friends and nurture skills, interests and talents that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

All clubs will start from Monday 16th September and will run every week except on the final week of a term i.e. the week before the Christmas, Easter and Summer Holidays. Clubs cost £1 per session and should be paid in advance. You can pay by cash directly to the school office or by using the Parent Pay system online.

If your child would like to attend any club, please complete a Club Registration Form and hand back to the school office as soon as possible. As always, we anticipate high demand for club places throughout the year which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If and when your child is allocated a place in any club, you will receive a confirmation text with a start date for your child so please ensure we have your correct mobile number on the registration slip.

We endeavour to keep clubs running at all times. However, on the rare occasion that a club has to be cancelled for whatever reason, a text will be sent out to parents in advance. Please note that all children must be collected from clubs promptly at 4:00. If this is persistently not the case, your child may be placed into afterschool child care which would incur an additional charge.

We understand that sometimes your child may not be able to attend their club that week. On these occasions, we ask that you inform the school office of this in advance so that club registers can be updated accordingly. Failure to pass on this information could result in your child being removed from a club altogether or prevented from walking home at 3:10. This is an important safeguarding measure to ensure the safety of all our children.

Please take a look at the Afterschool Club Timetable below to see what is currently on offer…

We try to provide a range of clubs that suit all age ranges but if there is something in particular that you can offer or would like us to introduce in the future, please let us know. We are always looking for exciting new opportunities to extend our current provision!
