Primary Schools are now required to publish alongside their Performance information a list of their childcare provision making it easier for parents to know what is available.

Delves Lane Primary School offers your child a chance to join our after school childcare club which will run every day in Class 6. The club is run by our own school staff, Monday to Thursday term time only.
A number of planned activities will be on offer; these will vary from day to day. They will include an opportunity to complete homework, reading, supervised use of the ICT equipment, games, drawing, board games and outdoor activities as often as possible.
Squash and a snack are included in the session price. Children may bring an additional snack from home if required, although sweets, chocolate and fizzy drinks should be avoided. Drinks on offer will be water or squash, snacks will include fruit, cheese, breadsticks and biscuits.
The child care club will run from the end of the school day until 5.30pm.
If your child attends the hour long after school activities for example, football, French, dodgeball etc. they can still attend their chosen activity, a member of staff will escort the children over to Class 6 once their club has finished.
Sessions are £7 per child, per session.
Children who attend an after school activity club first and then move over to the after school childcare club, will still be charged £7, a flat rate of £6 per session for after school childcare and £1 for the after school activity club.
Children must be collected from the After School Childcare Club via the security gate near Class 6.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and must be booked and paid for in advance. A registration form must be completed for each child stating emergency contact details etc. Payments can be made via ParentPay or the school office.
If you would like your child to attend our new After School Childcare Club, please contact the school office for all the relevant information and registration forms.
We are currently able to accommodate 30 pupils initially, but this is subject to review should there be a demand for extra places.
